Ph.D. Student

I received a Bachelor of Science in Physics with minors in mathematics and astronomy from Hofstra University. My research as a physics undergraduate student involved utilizing radio and X-ray observations to analyze galactic supernova remnants (SNRs) and using a parametric 3D computer-aided design modeler to develop a microscope enclosure. This interest in astronomical objects and learning about the phenomena behind the physical processes that occur in our galaxies and on microscopic levels translated into a fascination with the physical processes occurring on our Earth. Currently, my research project focuses on constraining sea-level across the Pliocene. So far, we’ve been able to use Earth system model simulations and a climate emulator to create a global series of emulated outputs across the Pliocene, with a particular focus on the Antarctic ice sheet.
