Jean Crespi

Associate Professor

I combine fieldwork; microstructural, strain, and fault-slip analysis; and kinematic modeling to develop interpretations for the structural evolution of regions that have undergone contractional and/or extensional tectonics. Regions of interest include the Taconic orogenic belt in western New England and easternmost New York State, the New England-Quebec igneous province, and the eastern North American rift system and passive margin.
